Top 10 Rules of Web Design
One of our final projects for COMM 350 this quarter is to create a personal website which houses all of our work this quarter. Through out the quarter we have learned about different design principles and the personal website gives us the chance to show off what we have learned. To help others who have not take a course like this one I have compiled a list of the top 10 rules for web design.
- It all starts with a generator
- Design
- Simple is better
- Consistency is key
- Easy to navigate
- Memorable URL
- Relevant and recent content
- Don't be afraid of white space
- Use relevant key words
- Give them a reason to return!
